Hibernate vs Hibernation

Hibernation is a state  where  hibernating  animal conserve food, especially during winter when food supplies are limited, tapping energy reserves, body fat, at a slow rate.  While  hibernate is  a  database management  system  where  smart devlopers conserve efforts to  make database connectivity, especially during deadlines when  resouces are limted , utilizing their brains for  business logic, debugging and for dealing with managers.

Animals that hibernate include bats, some species of ground squirrels and other rodents, mouse lemurs, the European Hedgehog and other insectivores, monotremes and marsupials . Developers that  uses  hibernate  include java, some species of .Net developers and other that want to use Open Source Object Relational mapping framework.

With true hibernation, the animal can be moved around or touched and not know it. with full use of hibernate for database connectivity , the application can be moved from one database to another , without effecting application .

Hibernating animals store food as body fat during the end of summer and during fall. Hibernating developer(  By hibernating developer i mean developer using hibernate) store session state in cache during  request processing.
